Bringing a book like “Microelectronics: Fabrication and Technology” to fruition is a collaborative effort, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to its creation.
First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt thanks to my family for their unwavering support, patience, and understanding throughout the many hours dedicated to this project. Their encouragement was a constant source of motivation.
I am immensely thankful to the management and my colleagues at G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, especially within the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The stimulating academic environment and collaborative spirit at GPREC have been instrumental in shaping my insights and expertise over the past 18 years.
My sincere appreciation goes to my students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, whom I’ve had the pleasure of teaching VLSI Design and related subjects. Their insightful questions and enthusiasm for learning have often sparked new perspectives and refined my understanding of the topics covered in this book.
I would also like to acknowledge the institutions where my academic journey unfolded: SRM Institute of Science and Technology for my M.Tech, and J.S. University Shikohabad for awarding me my Ph.D. in 2023. The foundational knowledge and research skills gained at these institutions were crucial.
